Wisconsin is reporting: More than 2,200 confirmed cases of #COVID19 recorded in the state, with 68 dead and the WI State Legislature, controlled by Republicans, has demanded that the polls remain open.

Voting by mail is the only responsible way to conduct an election as the coronavirus tears across Wisconsin. Yet, Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly @SpeakerVos State Senate Majority Leader @SenFitzgerald fought for you to risk your lives in person at the polls.

While fighting to force the Wisconsin voters to the polls during a global pandemic @SpeakerVos is fully aware of the dangers and retweeted this on Twitter. Proving that Wisconsin Republicans are willfully negligent and should be held to account.

WI Republicans have been working closely with Trump’s campaign & the Republican National Committee to prevent postpone of the vote or voting by mail. They are focused on a depressed voter turn out in an attempt to help Republican-backed Dan Kelly hold his WI Supreme Court seat.

So who is Dan Kelly? Appointed by Scott Walker in 2016, Dan Kelly is a WI Supreme Court Justice fighting to keep his seat. Kelly had no judicial experience when appointed and still, he rose to the top of Walker's list.

In 2011, Wisconsin's Department of Justice led at the time by Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel, hired Dan Kelly to help defend the Republican redistricting plan signed by Walker. Supporting the GOP's gerrymandering.

Dan Kelly worked with then-Assistant Attorney General Maria Lazar trials involving several of the big Walker-era laws, including voter ID and Planned Parenthood restrictions.

Dan Kelly praised Scott Walker's Act 10 legislation that restricted union rights for most public employees and caused mass protests and a demand from the public to recall Walker. Act 10 has caused and continues to cause irreparable injury to the unions.

Dan Kelly has touted the endorsement of the National Rifle Association. He is a tone-deaf, republican backed, conservative who 26 hours after the mass murder at Molson Coors in Milwaukee he held a fundraiser at a gun range.

Electing Conservative Republican judges is life-threatening.

It’s more important than ever for voters to rally around Judge Jill Karofsky. We need to know that the law will be upheld in #Wisconsin, and that the national general election in November will be fair and untainted.
