For those who know me, you know my mom has proudly been part of PSS since I was born, or maybe even before that. She has spent so much money on her classroom activities and she's sat down with many other teachers to discuss how to make their everyday life in the classroom-

-better and easier for themselves, and for their students. She treats and loves each one of her students as if they were her own children. She would bring me over to school activities such as pep rallies, cultural days, etc. even when I wasn't part of that school anymore.

She would stay on campus until 5pm(campus close time) and she would carry two bags with her. Her personal bag and another bag filled with papers that needed to be graded and a notebook she had to fill agendas with for the week or even the month.

She would pick me up after school and she would ask me "if I could change one thing about the way my teachers do their lessons to make it fun or make me excited to learn what would it be?" and we would discuss it and buy materials for her students and make up activities for them-

-so that she could even have fun with her students as she teached. She made movie nights, ice breaker activities, brain storming activities, killed two lessons with one game, etc. She would stay up and grade papers and sometimes she had to have me help her so that she could-

-at least catch up on some sleep she's been losing the previous nights. It wasn't until I became her tiny teacher-aide that I saw how much time she dedicated to her job. She loved it and never complained.

Pay cuts? She never complained. We just had to start portioning food for the whole family(including my gparents we support). Less hours? She didn't complain, she thought positively and dedicated that to our family at home. She stresses out, just not in front of us..

I can't imagine the amt of stress and the struggle and debates she may challenge in her mind right now. But I dare ANY ONE OF YOU! ADULTS INCLUDED IN THIS MOTHERFUCKER, TO ATTACK MY MOM, OR ANY EDUCATOR OR MEMBER OF THE BOARD IN FRONT OF ME!!! I daaaare you.
