Whenever I encounter someone with hateful and backward opinions it always catches me off guard, and I think that's a testament to the community I've found myself in.

You're all wonderful, intelligent, kind hearted people that I forget there are people who aren't like you lot.

Once I get past the initial "this sucks" feeling, I realise I'm profoundly lucky to forget this behaviour exists. It means my life is full of good people.
