1. Focus on the things you can control. There& #39;s a lot of sad news about Coronavirus in the media.

No, you can& #39;t control what& #39;s going on but what you CAN control is how much of it you take in.

Remember, everything you take in has an impact on the way you feel.
2. Practice deep breathing. So simple yet so overlooked. When you feel anxious and stressed, your breathing changes

Bring yourself back to a place of calm by practicing deep breathing.

Inhale through your nose for 3 seconds, exhale through your mouth for 5. Repeat a few times.
3. Look after your physical health. While this may seem like a great opportunity to eat and lay in bed all day, it’s not.

What you eat & when you eat have significant effects on the way you feel.

Try and squeeze little bits of exercise into your day too. A star jump won& #39;t hurt!
4. Do things that you enjoy. So you have a bit (or a lot) more free time.
Use it to do what makes you happy.

Don& #39;t neglect yourself. Continue listening to your favourite podcasts, or watching Tiger King & Money Heist back to back.

It& #39;ll take your mind off things.
5. Finally, stay connected. Unfortunately we can& #39;t see our loved ones but we CAN text, we CAN FaceTime, we CAN call.

Do it! There& #39;s nothing like catching up with your loved ones.

Use your social media, connect with others too! We& #39;re all in this together!
