We're really missing playing, so we thought we'd do a thread of some of our favourite live performances over the years. To start, we're going to go way back to a 2008 show in Amsterdam. Like many of our gigs back then, it ends with a stage invasion...
Also featured a very awkward pre-show acoustic set in a lift:
Next up is Glastonbury. We first played in 2009 but I'm not going to post that as the bottom E on my guitar was a semi-tone out for the entirety of the first song. My reputation is yet to recover. Here's us playing in 2010 with the London School of Samba:
In 2011 we played SXSW for the first and -- to date -- last time. It was an incredible week of shows and generally being quite stupid. Here's a video of us playing Dust on the Ground in our short shorts outside a pizza restaurant:
Reading/Leeds 2011 seemed like a really big moment for us at the time. Shuffle had just come out and it was one of the first big festival sets we did where we felt like we completely belonged there.
from Reading/Leeds festival to playing on a tram in San Diego. I struggled to find any great footage from 2012, although there were lots of amazing gigs -- Ally Pally, 9:30 Club etc. -- so here's us playing on a trolley:
Skipping forward to Brixton Academy in 2014. We recorded and filmed the entire gig but I can't find all the footage. This is probably the best quality recording of one of our live gigs to date:
