Moments showcasing Jin's intelligence: a thread

Jin's intelligence is often overshadowed by his more apparent qualities, but shines through if one pays close enough attention. Here is an incomplete list of such moments.

The Run episodes most especially show how intelligent Jin is. For example, when Jin managed to correctly solve the DNA clue in the BTS vs. zombies episode 21 (but was foiled by miscounting).

Or in Run episode 41, when Jin was making drawings to represent words for the rest of BTS to guess, and he gave this clue for "Americano"

Or the famous Shouting in Silence game from the same episode, where the players needed to pass a word down the line while listening to loud music like a game of telephone. Despite being provided incorrect clues, Jin managed to correctly guess 3 different times:

"Handsome"

"Carbonara"

"007 Bang"

Bonus moment when Jin didn't manage to get the exact word correct but was still able to extract half the original word from the mangled clue at the end

Or the famous Blue Village episode 48 where Jin was the only one to correctly determine which members were from the Blue Village

Or the escape room episode 52 where Jin led his team through their room to victory

Or when BTS were at a sauna in episode 61, where Jin guessed a newly coined word in record time

Or in episodes 79 and 80 where the members had to collect hearts. Jin absolutely dominated, ensuring that he won through 3 different methods: winning the interim check and using his extra votes and acting skills to ensure no one suspected him, finding the red star card and+

making a plan to give his hearts to someone else before inverting the rules so that the one with the least hearts won, and of course collecting the most hearts. Whichever way the game turned out, Jin would've come out on top.

This wasn't the first time Jin used his acting skills to make sure no one suspected him. In Run episodes 13, 14, and 15, he cleverly managed to evade suspicion while he carried out his role of spy and won by deceiving everyone else.

Jin is also a master of Halli Galli, a game where players flip cards over to show different numbers of fruits and ring a bell when there are exactly 5 of a kind. It requires speed, fast reflexes, and focus. When BTS has played this in Run episodes 37 and 68, Jin has always won

In the episodes where Jin has been the MC and had to choose a team to join to determine if he had to do the penalty as well, he has never chosen wrong even when the others have tried to trick him, showing how perceptive he is

When Jin went on Law of the Jungle, he cleverly brought mini ARMY bombs along to use as flashlights

He also brought the full sized version too and used it as a makeshift fishing rod. He even managed to catch two fish with it!

Overall, Jin did really well on Law of the Jungle. He absorbed survival lessons very quickly and successfully applied them while he was in the wild

Jin is also a university graduate. He was accepted into Konkuk university, a prestigious university for acting with extremely selective admissions, and attended while having a very busy schedule as an idol. He later graduated and enrolled in postgrad studies
