1) There was once a village where masquerades were held in high regard. There lived a young masquerade called Egungun.

2)He would hide along the bush path & frighten men, women and children. Egungun had a little whip which he used to flog people as he chased them about.
The older masquerades told him to be careful but he only laughed at them. He pretty much got away with all the bad stuff he did.

3)As time went on, Egungun became bored of harassing village folks. He packed his belongings and left for the city.
The people in Egungun's village were fucking happy.
Egungun got to the city and kept repeating his old tricks...

4)This time, he upped his game. He started lurking around the inner city roads, frightening drivers.
Soon, that bored him too.
He wanted a bigger challenge.

5)Egungun headed for the Express.
He started to challenge the trucks, Dangote trucks and Oil tankers. He would stand in front of the coming truck waving his pathetic looking whip. The truck would come to a stop or would veer off to avoid hit to him.
He felt really pleased.

6)One day, a truck didnt stop and smashed Egungun like blended tomatoes all over the Express. We'll never know the reason why the truck didnt stop, as the truck didnt stop after killing Egungun.
7) Egungun was never careful, he was used to getting away with shit but he got unlucky on the Express as was bound to happen to him someday.
