My business bank, @WellsFargo, was unprepared for the Paycheck Protection loans, provided application which I filled out right away, and just now told me despite 15 years of business & outstanding credit, go somewhere else to get a loan.

The #SBA loan program is a hot mess and banks have made false promises to their longtime customers and have now left us high and dry. Will they get away with it? We are about to find out. Meanwhile, I need to find a new banking relationship.

What are small American businesses supposed to do if they bank with a bank that claims it can’t offer any more loans? Most banks refusing to work w/ anyone other than their existing clients?! So some successful businesses get help, others get screwed? We were equally shut down!

This is unacceptable. The government shut down all the businesses. We all have to pay rent and we are encouraged to keep our workers, as I’ve managed to do. Government can’t arbitrarily offer relief only to some and not others.
