Do not restrict people from praising God the way they deem fit. Do not be the reason someone decided against dancing before the LORD in a way befitting our KING. Do not be the reason someone reduced the amount of money he intended to give as offering.

Dont do that!
Somebody did it in the bible and became barren.

David's wife saw him dancing and it appeared he had lost his sanity because his clothes fell off and he was naked dancing. A king, dancing naked? She judged David and that was it for her, GOD closed her womb.
The saying that 'you won't understand my praise because you don't know my story' is truer than true.
I went to Tamale last year and I visited a church on Sunday. There was this dude wearing slippers and dancing uncontrollably. I honestly felt like dude was overdoing it. Seriously.

Later in the service, his testimony was shared. Apparently he used to be a drug addict ...
And the evangelism team of the church used to visit him at a place designated for mad people to pray for him. He was in chains. They prayed for him continuously till he regained his sanity. That service was when he had come to share his story together with his entire family.
Here I was, in my faux gentleness, literally praying in my head that dude would stop embarrassing himself and dance more gently.
I didn't know his story then so his praise was absurd to me.
Never ever going to stop anybody from expressing appreciation to God the way they want to
@AsaaseNana has this poem where he makes the argument that, people claim he is eloquent. But if you had experienced what Jesus had done for him, you too would be eloquent in the way you recite poetry.
Paraphrasing*

Nea Owura Yesu ay3 ama me no
S3 3y3 wo na )y33 maa wo anka
Wo nso w'ano b3te.

*mind blown

Sometimes we write very well because we know what he has done for us. Hence, we know mediocre poetry doesn't befit the king. That's my praise.
Again, let people worship and praise God the way they want to. I'm not saying every praise at all is acceptable to God. But when we want to prescribe a tradition and routine that people should follow in their praise, usually we are stifling the raw expression of appreciation.
NB: Yes some people can be silly in the way they dance in church. They are not the ones I'm referring to here.
