A lot of talk about per-capita infection and death numbers. Mostly Trump supporters saying it’s not as bad here as it is in other countries. It’s worth pointing out that the US has a lower population DENSITY than any of the other top countries:
Population per square mile:
Italy: 518
France: 319
Spain: 241
Germany: 603
US: 87

If you calculate cases or deaths based on these numbers, you'll see that the numbers for the US are MUCH worse than other countries.
Put it this way: if country A had 100 people, and country B had 100 people, but country A had double the population density (meaning country B had everyone spread out much more) you would expect country A to have many more cases. So the lower the population density, the better.
In the US, the cases are MUCH higher, and soon, the deaths will be also. In summary: it is MUCH worse in the US than in any of those other 4 listed.
