Echoes of LRT in the center’s Cuomo obsession. He’s not going to save you. Disagreeing with trump does not automatically make him a capable leader

Centrists are desperate for a polite moderate to swoop in and vanquish the evil. They thought Mueller was gonna do it, they thought the halfhearted impeachment attempt was gonna do it. It’s sad the way they keep glomming onto false hope like this

Because the awful dirty secret is they only dislike trump because he’s too stupid not to say the quiet part loud and be blatantly evil. They wouldn’t mind him otherwise. Why else is there all this Bush nostalgia coming from the center?

Trump is just a version of Bush who’s openly repulsive instead of disguising it with folksy hick charm. Centrists miss Bush cause he allowed them to both profit off his evil deeds and conveniently ignore the evilness.

But with trump there’s no disguise draped over the inherent cruelty of a right wing administration. It’s laid bare for all to see, and it makes centrists uncomfortable to be forced to look at the true motives of their own actions and inactions

So they playact disgust and horror and cling to their precious decorum, as they pray for a tactful war criminal to come along and make government complacent in the fun way again. Barf

Maybe none of this made any sense, I’m tired. Cuomo’s not gonna be ur Harry Potter or whatever, vote for Bernie, goodnight
