People who don’t care about migrant workers or domestic workers, you are all the absolute worst. W/o exception

You couldn’t live for a minute without them. Pathetic. I hate middle class chinese Singaporean awfulness.

People truly are struggling all over the world. The people with domestic helpers to look after their kids are writing op-eds about how Singapore is So Much Better. Because, again, privileged middle class Singapore is the worst.

Singaporeans who are horrible to migrant workers, domestic help and service staff, I wish you a lifetime of poor food choices and badly behaved offspring just as awful as you.

The best part is the people I’m most definitely subtweeting probably think they treat people super well :)

I mean these people clearly think being a ‘social justice warrior’ is worse than being ‘a decent human being’

I have extra rage about this because I went to school with extra privileged Chinese Singaporeans who, during the asian financial crisis of 1998 said things like ‘my family is coming down in the world now we have to move to a bungalow in Clementi where’s clementi’

It’s safe to say in all of this the US govt has disgusted me thoroughly and the American people have behaved admirably; and it’s been the opposite for the country of my birth.

(But also that I’m exceptionally proud of my city and state government, which has managed to accomplish what it has done without extraordinary surveillance)

I learned a long time ago Singapore is not a clean country, it is cleaned. By the very people you treat like shit while you queue up for cupcakes in a fucking pandemic.

Also the same Singaporean who tweeted that also unironically wished a fascist prime minister happy recovery from coronavirus

I take it back there are people just as bad as these and it’s the anti homeless people in SF. They’re all cut from the same cloth woven with assholery
