Maybe I’m biased as someone who grew up thinking these things are normal but just seeing people overreact to the tiniest cultural differences is a bit of a head scratcher sometimes

Also “Haha you’re Australian? Wow I’d be too scared to go to Australia, too many deadly animals everywhere “ is something I’ve heard way too many times and i just kinda. Roll my eyes now

Anyways this thread is because I saw a thing about how “weird” it is that Australia refers to a clear lemon-flavored soda as lemonade when like half the world also does that
