The drumbeat for imposing statewide restriction carries on unabated with little to no acknowledgment that our public-private partnership and county-by-county enforcement approaches are making real, quantifiable inroads in our attempts to flatten the curve.

Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, Summit, Wasatch, Morgan, & Tooele Counties have mandatory orders. Yet even there, enforcement is not a primary concern. Utahns are social distancing—with or without mandate. A statewide order would be a cosmetic change masquerading as the only solution.
