mangas that i've read/re-read during the quarantine thread
Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan (Romance, Seinen)
pros:
- painful to read
cons:
- painful to read
GOODNIGHT PUNPUN (Drama, Slice of Life, Seinen) [3rd reread]
- reading this feels like watching a car crash, then it explodes on an oil tanker, destroying a building nearby, then the building collapses, destroying an entire village

-tl;dr depression but in manga form
A Trail of Blood (Suspense, Thriller) [Ongoing]
- i don't know how to describe this one but if you're up for a psychological thriller manga about a mother manipulating her kid, then this one is good. pretty disturbing too
All You Need is Kill (Action, Sci-Fi, Seinen) [2nd re-read]
- do you remember Tom Cruise's Edge of Tomorrow? that movie was actually an adaptation of this manga rofl
- good plot twists, great art, story is kinda iffy at times but still solid, 8/10
Berserk (Dark Fantasy, Seinen, Drama) [nth re-read]

- 30 years ongoing, gazillion hiatuses puts HxH to shame
- most arcs have no fillers
- has probably one the best arcs (Golden Age Arc) among any manga
- get ready to bleach your eyes
Dorehedoro (Seinen, Fantasy) [2nd re-read]
- re-read due to anime adaptation
- worldbuilding is fucking good
- only con i can think of is the ending but still a great read 9/10

Bougyako no Kokekko (Horror, Supernatural)

- adults turn into chickens LMFAO
- so fucking bad, it's so good
- antagonist and his motives are SO FUCKING STUPID
- 4.5/10
Alice on Borderland (Psychological, Shounen)

- good pacing
- villains actually have good motives
- shounen but no one has plot armor
- best survival manga if not tied with battle royale
GANTZ (Action, Seinen, Thriller) [2nd re-read]
- blood, sex, and ultra-violence, the holy trinity of mindless entertainment
- shitty dialogue, weird plot and pacing, what the fuck was that ending? but, still enjoyable due to its stylized violent action
