Recommend me a book please - one that will shake me to my foundations, that I wont be able to put down, something philosophical, historical, spiritual! (if its old and therefore cheap/free on amazon kindle I will settle for just “quite good”)

I like non-fiction, but if it's historical-philosophical fiction that's good (see Camus "The Stranger"). I know there are just so many books. Don't think about it too much - just write one! G'wan.
