This moment of the #coronavirus pandemic tells us nothing new about Trump. We already knew he was a malignant narcissist who cares only about himself and is as familiar with compassion as he is the truth. 1/

But this pandemic is exposing everything about who we are: I'm in awe of the people showing up to hospitals and grocery stores, delivering our packages and picking up our garbage, teaching our kids and fixing our homes and streets, some of them risking their own lives 2/

Years from now, when the story of this time is told, the vast majority of these heroes will not have their names on statues or streets or schools; but their legacy will endure in the lives they saved and the community they helped to build. 3/
