Thread on CeeDee Lamb:
CeeDee's best trait are his ball skills. Watch how he greats to high velocity throw with one hand.
Love the way he tracks and high points the ball down the field.
Gets a nice subtle push-off and tracks/adjusts to the ball late over his back shoulder.
CeeDee is a beast after the catch. Although he's not overly shifty or fast, he just has an innate feel for breaking tackles and making defenders miss in space, similar to DeAndre Hopkins.
Lamb has really good contact balance to break through arm tackles after the catch.
CeeDee Lamb truly made a fool out of Texas after the catch.
Part of what makes Lamb so great after the catch is his field vision and creativity with the ball in his hand.
I would say Lamb is a good, not great route-runner. I like how he sells his breaks on double moves, but Lamb is not going to beat you with elite speed and agility.
Instead, Lamb wins with his physicality on his routes. Nice subtle push off on his break to create extra separation.
Lamb uses a very Hopkins-esque push off to create separate here.
CeeDee Lamb didn't see his a lot of press coverage in college. I feel comfortable with his able to make contested catches and uses his physicality to either create separation or box out defenders in the NFL.

Now despite his slighter frame, CeeDee loves to get at it when he blocks. A lot stronger than he looks. Has an alpha mentality.
Now this isn't really a negative, but it is important to note. When looking at CeeDee's college production, it is fantastic. However, just keep in mind that a good bit of it was schemed up to where he is wide open.
