How I got scammed by a @WatchMixer partner: @2CanGaming and his team @UnificationMXR - a thread.
Earlier this year, this streamer hosted a giveaway on @PLAYRgg in the name of his team, and I was drawn as a winner on Jan 2nd. I "won" a Xbox One X bundle (with a headset, pubg and a gift code).

A few days after winning, I sent a message to the team thanking them.
As I live in Brazil, that has really strict rules about imported products (and taxes), I had to track the code so I could pay the tax. So, two weeks later, I politely and humbly sent then another messaged asking if there was any kind of estimated shipping date.
This is the messages I sent them.
As you can see in the bottom of the image, I was blocked.

After seeing I was blocked (Jan 21st), I immediately thought I was scammed, so I tweeted about it, and sent a message to the leader of the team, @2CanGaming.
This was his response.
In his response, it was implied that he still would send me the prize. Of course, there was no reason not to, right?

But he didn't.
Even though PlayrGG states that prizes can take up to 30 days (and not 60 as he said) to be sent, I waited for 60 days, and no prize or communication from him or the team whatsoever.
So, I contacted PlayrGG through Discord and the moderator Sarah tried to help me.
I waited for 5 days, and there was absolutely no message from him.

I contacted him, and he just ignored me, until a couple of days later that I really lost my temper and sent a message telling he was a scammer.
He called me a disturbed person, and it turned into a REALLY heated discussion from both parts, with a lot of name calling.

He kept saying that he already sent the prize and that I was trying to scam him to get another prize, yet he couldn't provide a receipt or a tracking code.
PS.: he also said that the wouldn't send it because I called him a scammer. Of course, I twitted that on Jan 21st, AFTER being blocked. He should decide his excuse - DID he or DIDN'T he send the prize?
During the discussion, he said that he sent it using the "Royal Mail" service, and sent a link to get more details.
The curious thing is the link stated that the packages was limited to 2kg. Xbox One X alone weights 3.8kg.
So, this is clearly a lie, and he just never intended to send the prize in the first place, he just wanted free followers and used the PlayrGG service for it.

Later that night, I was really angry and reach him out on his stream, to alert his followers of the kind of guy he is.
This is the message I sent: "Hi! You guys that are participating in Troy's giveaway, don't get your hopes up. I won a giveaway earlier this year, and he didn't sent the prize. He claims that he sent it, yet can't provide a receipt or tracking code. It was just a scam!..."
He blocked me, and he got support from all the Mixer's moderators and staff who was currently there on reporting my account. He called me all kind of names live, like psychopath, disturbed child, a scammer, and so on...
He said that I was trying to EXTORT money, mainly because of ONE SENTENCE I said earlier: "If you don't want to all the trouble of having to buy a Xbox and shipping it, you can deposite the value from the bundle on my PayPal account. I won the giveaway, I deserve my prize."
He convinced all the people in the stream to report me, so my Mixer accounts was banned.
After that, I sent official and formal reports to @WatchMixer Guardians (received just a generic response), to @XboxAmbassadors, and of course to Action Fraud (and the report was escalated to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau - NFIB).
Of course I am being a little heated and crazy about this. It just was going to be my FIRST EVER console, and I was so happily and excitedly waiting for it to arrive since Jan 2nd. And to see he is backed by Mixer and its community make it even worse.
I tried contacting the others members of the team, @DeadrusMixer, @xXChampersXx, @demu_z, @Ludajacked, @ChefSandyy - they all just blocked me without investigating.
I don't have any hopes of receiving it now - I believe they never even intended to send it. They just wanted free followers. If anyone can help me spread this, I'll really appreciate it. At least others won't make the same mistakes I did.
I just discovered he's manipulating the story and made the @WatchMixer mods delete the reddit thread because of it. I'll say this now: anyone who received screenshots from him, send me a DM and I'll send ALL the screenshots, so nothing is OUT OF CONTEXT.
It's unbelievable the capacity he has of making people forget the whole point of the story: he did NOT send the prize that I won. Yes there was "name calling" from both parts in a heated discussion - that happened 72 DAYS AFTER I WON THE PRIZE.
Or maybe people just need a reason to be on the bad person side of the story. The world is a rotten place - nothing is going to change that. People like he, and the ones that are on his side, are what make this world what it is.
I forgot some team members (I don't know if they participated in this) @WillOWispMXR, @insandio, @Th3_Magic_IVIan, @LessennTV, @AWildHanimal, @element14games, @Murd3rHeSmoke, @K3RNL_PANIC, @GarbonzoBean66, @professor_small, @mansonctr, @ShaggyGamingMXR now they can block me too.
May you never, neither of you, find yourself in a position where you can't afford something, then you win something, and the person never send it to you. If you do you'll understand where all the heat, craziness and name calling came from. 72 days. After I won.
Let's respond to this:

1) Asking if he is afraid of god's justice and sending him to hell is not a death threat.

2) Day 2 of the giveaway I sent only that messages of the beginning of this thread. Always polite.
3) First time I called it a "scam" was on Jan 21st, when I saw the team twitter just blocked me for no reason. But then, when @2CanGaming responded to the DM, I deleted the tweets.

4) Anyone can enter royal mail website and look for any service that ships more than 2kg.
5) Screenshots are not out of context. Again, anyone that wants the full conversation can send me a DM.

6) "If anyone wants to contact me about the [proof of the giveaway prize being sent], please do here or on twitter."
IF he had any, he would just post it, or send it to me.
ALL I want, from the beginning was the proof it was sent. He says he has it but can't send it to me? WTF?

@WatchMixer and @PLAYRgg mods are not happy. They're just trying to sweep this under the rug cause it's easier than convincing a scammer to stop scamming.
Also I acted the wrong way when I got really angry and calling his names. But as I said, no one knows how it feels to go through this. He kept sending the same messages telling he already sent it, yet without a tracking code, and blocking me for no reason.
But it was only 72 days after I won (I won Jan 1st, the heated conversation was on March 12th). He's a scammer and he's fooling everyone around him.
