*THREAD* My boredom during this pandemic has reached its highest point so I’ll be rating 32 of the stadiums I’ve been to as a fan based on a 1-10 score on the following 3 criteria

1. The atmosphere. Were the fans into it or did it feel like you were at a funeral?
2. Stadium condition. How was the surrounding area & was it up to date or falling apart

3 Food. Did they have basic stuff or was there something above and beyond what you'd expect a sporting event?

Now let’s begin!!
32. Oakland Coliseum. Been twice, last visit 2010. Food-5, atmosphere 6, condition 4=5. Pretty self explanatory, this park is constantly regarded as one of the worst in sports. Food options are bad, and even their own fans don’t come to the park because they know how bad it is.
31. US Cellular Field. Been 4 times, last went 2017. Food-6, atmosphere 6, condition 5=5.66. Not sure how you can have bad food at a ballpark in the best food city in the US. Very bland, cookie cutter park. Surrounding area is also not great. Even their fans admit it.
30. Little Caesars Arena. Been 40 times, last went 2019. Food 7.2, atmosphere 6.3, condition 7=6.8. In fairness, LCA’s trying to replace the Palace & Joe Louis and it’s not working at all. Fans don’t show up, food selection is meh and pricey. Saving grace is the surrounding area
29. Joe Louis Arena. Last visit 2017. Food 6.5, atmosphere 9, condition 6=7.16. Put aside emotions. This place STUNK. The concourses were too small, the seats were cramped, stairs were a death wish, food selection was barely average. Only positive was the crowd got really loud.
28. Rogers Centre. Visited 7 times, last visit 2017. Food 8, atmosphere 7.5, condition 6.4=7.3. Good place to watch a ballgame, and in a good area. It’s just an old stadium that clearly hasn’t been updated much at all. When the roof is closed, it’s very quiet. Good burgers though
27. Michigan Stadium. Been 5 times, last visit november 2018. food 6, atmosphere 8, condition 8.3=7.43. Yes it’s the Big House. But by halftime, plenty of fans have left and the ones that stay there definitely don’t sound like 107k. Plus the food selection is miserable
26. Nationals Park. Been once in 2018. Food 7, atmosphere, 7.8, condition 7.6=7.46. Cool park in a decent location. The problem is the food selection is only average & the last trains lots of people leaves around the seventh inning, and then the stadium clears out
25. Spartan Stadium. Been 3 times, last visit 2017. Food 7 atmosphere 8, condition 7.5=7.5. Good place to watch a football game, but similar to Michigan Stadium, the attendance drops steeply after halftime. Food options weren’t great either but again, good atmosphere
24. KeyBank Center. Been 3 times, last visit 2013. Food-7, atmosphere 8, condition 8=7.6. Food was only ok if you’re not a fan of buffalo sauce 😬 surrounding area wasn’t bad. I’d heard the fans showed up no matter the record but that wasn’t clear any of the times I went
23. Great American ball park visited 4 times, last time 2017. Food 7.2, atmosphere 7, condition 8.7=7.63. A beautiful park with a great surrounding area and backdrop. However, the tickets and food are both overpriced, & if the team isn’t contending, attendance is miserable
(TIE)22. Miller park-visited twice, last visit 2017. Food-7.5, atmosphere 7.5, condition 8=7.66. Nice place for a ballgame, loved the retractable roof concept. Food was okay, not much besides brats. Not a lot of fans showing up for a Saturday afternoon in the summer
(TIE)22. Amalie arena. Visited in 2013. Food-7, atmosphere 8, condition 8=7.66. Really surprised a hockey arena in Florida was this nice. Fans were really into it as well, but the food was pretty below average. A lot of people left halfway through the third period, no clue why
20. Comerica Park. Been many times, last visit 2019. Food 7.5, atmosphere 7.6, condition 8=7.7. Cool area to be in for a game. But unless the team is contending, attendance ⬇️. Tix were still available during playoffs. Food choices are OK, but they change a lot of them every year
19. Citi Field. Visited once in 2018.
Food 7.5, atmosphere 8, condition 7.8=7.76. Went to Mets-Dodgers on a Saturday night in the summer, which I thought would get a big crowd. Not the case. Food was okay, but I’ll never understand building a ballpark right next to an airport
18. New Yankee stadium-visited once in 2014. Food-8, Atmosphere 7.4, Condition 8=7.8. Great food. The brand new ballpark is well designed & all, the surrounding area still needs work. Compared to the old stadium, it feels like there’s a mall with a baseball field in the middle.
17. Nationwide arena visited twice in 2019. Food 7.5, atmosphere 8.2, condition 7.8=7.83. Terrific place to watch a hockey game, fans get very involved. Surrounding area was decent, food options could use some work
(TIE)16. PNC Park. Been 6 times, last time 2017. Food-7, atmosphere 7.8, condition 8.8=7.86. Just like US Cellular: can’t be in 1 of the best food cities in the US and have below average food. Backdrop and skyline are the perfect setting for a park. Just need more fans to show up
(TIE)16. Old Yankee stadium-Visited 3 times, Last visit 2008. Food 7.2, Atmosphere 9 Condition 7.4=7.86. An awesome historical stadium but was in desperate need of renovations. Food options were ok, and the fans were riding on every pitch, even when the Yankees weren’t doing well
14. FirstEnergy Stadium. Been 6 times, last time December 2018. food 7.3, atmosphere 8.3, condition 8.1=7.9. Even with not a lot of on field success, FES is a great place, even with the wind coming off Lake Erie. Bundle up and you’ll be OK. Food options could be improved
(TIE)13. New Era Field, visited in 2018. Food 7, atmosphere 8.8, condition 8=7.93. The stadium is kind of in the middle of a field, and that field is where bills mafia gets their name at the tailgates. The fans are no joke. They were loud as hell. Food options were okay.
(TIE)13. Bridgestone Arena, visited in 2018. Food 7, atmosphere 8.4, condition 8.4=7.93. Like Florida, didn’t think a hockey arena in Nashville would be great. Unbelievably loud, and the arena‘s very modern. They aren’t very good at checking tickets, they forgot to check mine 😬
(TIE)13. United Center. Visited twice, last in 2019. Food 7, atmosphere 9, condition 7.8=7.93. The area around the arena is slowly getting better which is a long time coming. Food was okay. But the atmosphere of the arena was incredible. Great energy and traditions at UC.
