unlock lvl:
> lvl 80

what does it do?
> grant talent points required to unlock skills in the deep talent system

can devices be stacked?
> no, you can only equip one of each type so you will get all eventually but you can prioritize which to get first

which to prioritize?
> its heavily recommended to get the 4 that costs 600 emblems each first (pick according to stats you want) as they grant more ratings and talent points

max amount of talent points?
> currently 18 (may change in the future)

two device sets?
> one is centered on pve and one pve; equip them accordingly as each set gives you different stats for matched for different situations

bought the same device by mistake, what do i do?
> sell it and theyll give your emblems back

acquiring devices

there are two types of emblems to exchange for devices: pve emblem i and bg emblem i

pve emblems are obtained from your weeklies, world bosses and activity chests. bg emblems are obtained from daily pvp and career id exchange

how to get:
> do your dailies (dragon hunt and devil awake) and other activities that give you activity points which gives you activity chests
> defeating lvl 80 & 85 (funfair and well of bones) wbs
> completing bronze (hard) and nightmare: light dungeons

pve emblem i

note: theres a limit to how many times you can acquire the emblems through defeating wbs and going through dungeons weekly: "unavailable after the 615th claim in operation owl and code actions"

in total you can get 1000 pve emblems per week

bg emblem i

how to get:
> daily pvp (grinding or missions such as first battle, etc)
> career id exchange

bg emblem i

what is career id exchange?

1/ you need to gain career points by doing any of your career and when you have enough, exchange them for id cards as shown below:

(note: to maximize total weekly gain, you need to buy 20 id cards per week after lvl 80)

2/ click on the id card in your inventory and then "use" so itll redirect you to the id exchange npc. if you cant find it, the npcs right across the refinement device exchange npc.

3/ click on the npc and itll give you two choices:

exchange id cards for scorch emblems ( more about this on the scorch emblem section below)

from this npc, you can exchange up to 300 emblems weekly (1 id = 30 emblems; 10 ids needed)

bg emblem i

note: there is also a set limit to how many emblem you can get per week (same as pve emblems above); pvp gives you max 700

in total you can get 1000 bg emblems per week

device exchange

open your inventory and click "use" on any of the emblems or click on "[shop] refine device" on the map to be redirected to the exchange npc. the emblem exchange window should open.

tips:
> its recommend to get the devices that cost 600 emblems first for each set as they raise your talent points by two and ratings by ~500 (smaller devices raise ~300)
> prioritize getting the devices that matches your stats (click on them and see)

slots

each device will fill in a fixed spot and it wont be equipped on any random side (eg. small blue device will always be on the northwest spot).

grind or not to grind?

aside from the ratings, its important for you to actually get these devices because without them you wont get talent points to unlock or level your deep talent skills (which are pretty significant) so unlocking them as fast as possible is recommended.

scorch emblem

what are these?
> a part of your pvp rewards after lvl 80. collect them and exchange for icon, outfit, weapon skin and the old (below lvl 80) pvp emblems

how to get:
> daily pvp
> career id exchange ( more on this on the bg emblem section above)

scorch emblem

more on career id exchange:
> click on the 2nd option to exchange id cards for scorch emblems.
> max of 10 ids to exchange weekly

(note: thats why 20 id cards are needed for max efficiency; 10 for bg emblems and 10 for scorch emblems)

the exchange npc is called battlefield emblem exchange. click on the npc and the exchange window should open.

emblem requirements
masked dancer: 800 emblems
glory emissary: 1200 emblems
cyber hunter: 3600 emblems
