Day IDFK of quarantine: Having a Nic Cage movie marathon to either cheer myself up or lean further into the madness.
worried that I started too strong with The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
Following up with Leaving Las Vegas because I'm only watching movies I haven't seen yet.

I'm sad that it seems I've seen all of the most ridiculous ones
spoke too soon. Shout out to Nic Cage for being fucking incredible
"Giving you money makes me wanna cum."
oh shit, need to find me a freak like that... except minus the me being a prostitute part. I simply don't have the energy for that profession.
drinking while watching Leaving Las Vegas is feeling a bit too... on the nose maybe?
Now it's time for Vampire's Kiss- inspired by one of my good friends telling me (probably 5 years ago) that it was his favorite Nic Cage movie.
what in the actual FUCK is Nic Cage's accent supposed to be in this movie?! It is driving me insane
I JUST FOUND OUT THIS IS THE MOVIE WITH THAT INFAMOUS SCREENSHOT
is Vampire's Kiss supposed to be laugh-out-loud funny? Because I am losing my shit over here
literally never laughed so much at a movie that's clearly been about a psychotic break
fucking brutal ending though. Pretty sure i wasn't supposed to be laughing so hard based on that
Oh well, on to Snake Eyes! I love a military Gary Sinise character
ope Sinise is actually the worst in this movie. that's a big oof
this is NOT very Lt. Dan of him. #SnakeEyes
Gonna have a hard time ranking these movies since they're all so different.
Ok:
Most fun to watch- The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Most Laugh-out-loud Moments- Vampire's Kiss
Most Nicolas Cage-y- Snake Eyes
One I Didn't Expect to Like, but Was Actually Great- Leaving Las Vegas
For rewatch-ability:
1) Vampire's Kiss
2) Leaving Las Vegas
3) Snake Eyes
4) The Sorcerer's Apprentice (only because once you know how it ends, that's about all you need)
