Post partum depression after having a child is real. I’m seeing so many women who’s never had a baby have negative things to say, but if only y’all knew the changes a baby makes. Your body, your relationship, your emotions and mental state changes the second you have a child.
A mother feeling sad or sorry for herself doesn’t mean she doesn’t love her child. When you’re raising a child & don’t have the relationship w/ the child’s father like you did before you had your baby of course the shit hurts. The hurt changes women.
Imagine getting pregnant for the man that you love & after you have the baby he starts acting different. Not only do you have to raise a child, you now have to deal with the strain from your relationship. The weight from that alone is ALOT.
A mother can get help from family & friends, the child can be taken care of, etc. but that doesn’t take away from the hurt of her relationship not being the way it was before she got pregnant.
