I’m trying to understand why the current outpouring of concern for @BorisJohnson makes me feel a bit uneasy. I think it’s because I can’t identify with someone who has for years disregarded the needs of most people in this country. I don’t wish him any harm, but 1/2

I don’t want him to overshadow the names and faces of all those other amazing, selfless key workers, docs, nurses, cleaners, teachers, drivers who have lost their lives to this virus. They and their families are just as important. I hope he pulls through and learns from this. 2/2
