My sister is the Lead Instructor of a Nursing program related to a well known hospital in Northern NJ. She was just drafted (hours after she volunteered) for active duty during #COVID19. She has a Masters degree, and has spent 35+ yrs in the medical field, many of which spent

in the Oncology Dept. at an acclaimed hospital in the Bronx, NY, where sadly she witnessed a lot of death.

My point being is that she has many decades of experience, and this is was how she described her first few hours on the front lines. We owe these ppl everything

Also she said #SocialDistancing IS working. It's the one thing that every single one of us can and must do in order to stop the spread.

@maddow highlighted (Tuesday 4/7) the hospital I refer to in this thread, Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ, located 3.5 miles from GW Bridge which takes you into Manhattan. We're a huge part of the metropolitan tristate area NY, NJ, Conn., and we are getting slammed w/ #COVID
