on this day in 1992, Oriole Park at Camden Yards opened it’s door. there have been some amazing games at Camden Yards; some i’ve been fortunate enough to be able to attend. i’ll list them out here.

April 5, 2013: Chris Davis hits a grand slam to put the O’s ahead 9-5; his 4th straight game with a HR to that point
May 31, 2013: Chris Dickerson hits a walkoff three run home run with the O’s down 5-4 in the top of the 9th
May 1, 2014: Matt Wieters hits a walkoff home run to beat the Pirates. it was also Machado’s first game back following his first knee injury
August 8, 2014: Orioles hit 6 home runs on the night of the franchise’s 60 anniversary celebration
September 16, 2014: Orioles clinch AL East at home
May 11, 2015: Orioles’ first game back in Baltimore following civil unrest

August 5, 2017: Tim Beckham hits 10,000th home run in Orioles franchise history
May 31, 2019: down 5-0 after the top of the 1st, the O’s score 6 in the bottom half and end up winning 9-6
