Coach Nielson’s thoughts on his first season as head coach at UVU:

“I was so proud of what we were able to accomplish this year on and off the court! Winning games at GCU, Bakersfield and New Mexico State for the first time ever were highlights. We achieved our highest WAC finish ever in second place.

That was amazing because it qualified us for our first ever postseason tournament in the WNIT. The thing I’m most proud of though is the foundation that was laid for our future by this years team, especially the seniors.

We can’t wait to get our team on campus next year and to continue to build up our program. We look forward to doing that with the support of everyone at UVU and in thcommunity!” - Coach @Dan_Nielson
