hey cool fact totally apropos of nothing and not pertaining to the furry fandom discourse of the day: if an apology doesnt clearly communicate what is being apologized for, its not much of an apology at all
I'm blocked so I cant say it to their face, guess I'll say it to Twitter in general
if you do a real actual crime which has a real living victim who was harmed (and you boastfully publicly posted evidence of this crime happening repeatedly), and then only apologize for "thought crimes", you have not come clean
(cw animal abuse) you know what, no, this is BS. if you want to come clean, stop lying first. wild-life didnt just "consume porn" and "share content" that "never lead anywhere", they PRODUCED "content" by assaulting an innocent animal. the screenshots have been public since 2010.
I respect their bravery in confronting and controlling their paraphilia

I have no disrespect for their fursuit customers, I wont block you for associating w them

they dont know me or owe me jack shit, but if I saw an honest apology I'd forgive them, and I dont think I'm alone
I've been in the fandom since 2009 and this was always an open secret. They've been untouchable for all that time, because they're a very talented fursuit maker. The harassment they've endured behind the scenes is unconscionable, but the harm they've done cant be minimized.
the most important thing to take away from this- the dog they had abused was rehomed and had a good life away from them. they did the right thing

but they go on to say they "don't dump dogs, and dont abuse them", which implies that they dont consider what they did to be abuse??
They've righted the real material wrongs of the situation as best as possible, and I respect them for that. There's no reason to disbelieve that they've worked to move forward as a person, and deserve to be heard out. But they dont seem to acknowledge that their acts were harmful
if you dont acknowledge the harm you've done, it's just not an apology or an explanation
