People then go “but that’s what Believe Women meant” and your response every time should be “then say what you mean”. It’s the problem with both academic and activist lingo.

I genuinely believe Black Lives Matter wouldn’t have been nearly as divisive (it still would have been divisive, just not as much) if they simply added Too to the end of the name.
