The @JCPSKY Calendar Committee is meeting now to discuss changes to the 2019-20 school calendar in light of #COVID19 outbreak.
Teachers and staff would get four emergency days of leave under the proposed calendar, which would ask the @JCPSKY board to forgive four instructional days.

Oaks and primary election, which have been postponed, would also be moved to instructional days.
The proposal calls for the last day at @JCPSKY to be June 3 for students and June 4 for staff.
"Everybody will get paid their full contract days" under the proposed calendar, HR chief Jimmy Adams says.
This proposal will now move to the board based on the calendar committee's approval.
They're now looking at changing next year's school calendar based on changes to the Kentucky Derby (Oaks will fall on Sept. 4).
That would push the last day of the 2020-21 school year at JCPS May 26.
Annnnnnd the livestream died. RIP.
