Here's a dark part of this @Alyssa_Milano thing: she is a sexual assault victim. She knows how difficult it is for victims to confront their abusers. And she promised to be in solidarity with victims. Not two years ago... in October 2019! She takes credit for starting #MeToo
:
"The "Charmed" actor helped launch the #MeToo
movement two years ago when she tweeted out a call to action asking women who had been sexually harassed or assaulted in the past to reply to the tweet with "me too.""

She went through the very thing that Tara Reade accused Joe Biden of, and it impacted her greatly:
"'[He] put his hand under my underwear and [tried] to force his fingers inside of me,' Milano said on her podcast. 'He violated me on a set with cameras rolling.'"

She talks about knowing how hard it is to admit what happened:
"I think it's important for us in positions where we can speak on a platform to show that coming to terms with this and discussing these issues of sexual assault are very hard and they take a lot of years."

cont:
"So much goes into the thought of admitting this, not only to the world, but to yourself. I have never really been ready for that where I'm ready to go inside my own soul and deal with my own sexual assault."

She knows her duty to other victims:
"Part of this for me was very personal, but also what I felt like I needed to do for the women that have shared their stories with me."

There's a reason why she didn't share the name of her abuser:
"I think a lot of women can relate to this...when we confront our abusers, that we don't want to ruin their lives and their livelihoods because this man has a family."
And she thinks Tara does or something?!

But it's ok for her not to share her abuser. That's her choice. This part of it is not a choice though:
"'You don't have to say exactly what happened to you. You just have to stand in solidarity with other women that have faced this horrible reality,' Milano said."

Just last year. Not a random tweet from two years ago, as she tried to pretend on @RadioAndySXM. She was trying to be a leader in the movement, until it inconvenienced her. She should extend the same courtesy others extended her. #MeToo
