Can't even begin to imagine what happens if Boris dies.

How would a new PM get chosen? Who would get to decide? If Raab gets it by default, would he really have the authority to hold together a cabinet coming apart at the seams?

So much of Boris's legitimacy, both within his party and with the wider public, comes from the fact he just won a landslide election. No successor would have that.

Honestly I could see this being the trigger for a national unity government...
