more vulnerable to sickness. it is not the great equalizer, because not everyone is experiencing this the same. some of us are in our cozy apartments doing some extra push-ups during this pandemic, while others don’t have the ability to shelter in place, like those who live on
the street or those who are in prison...we need to ask ourselves how we can make sure that things like this don’t happen to vulnerable people in vulnerable communities ever again.
The way we are going to be able to do that is through collective action, and the first part of collective action is understanding that change IS possible.”
