Klaus was overbearing and cold toward her a lot of the times and his excuse was simply that he was protecting her or he was stronger than her. he killed every man she ever +

found herself seeing for centuries, he treated her like some kind of minion and he always belittled her. even with marcel when they fell in love, he daggered her and forced marcel to choose between immortality or her.

Don’t give me that crap that he ‘gave his blessing’ +

because that happened after she had called Mikael there. and even if it hadn’t that is one guy out of how many??

I’m getting a bit off track. He literally made her terrified to do anything for herself. betrayed her time and time again. it was the most toxic thing I have ever +

I’ll give a scenario. imagine you are with a guy/girl and you love them with your whole heart. but the way they return that love is by hurting you emotionally, physically, refusing to let you do anything for yourself and restricting you from doing what you want to do +

, now imagine that was soemone you have bent over backwards for, loved unconditionally and gave your heart and soul too. Now imagine if that’s as your own flesh and blood.

After all that freedom that was stripped away from her, after all those broken +

On top of that you have to remember when Rebekah was turned. I believe she was 17? I’m not even fully emotionally +

mature turning 20 and you expect her to be?

Any way, the point is, the people calling her a bitch and saying she deserved his punishment are pathetic tbh cuz if that happened in real life you guys would be all over that saying how she should have gotten out of it sooner +
