. @alyssa_milano needs to cogently explain the material difference[s] between blasey-ford’s testimony and #TaraReade’s.

her reasoning is not good enough.

:THREAD:
she claims the fact that @TIMESUPLDF refused to take tara’s case is exculpatory. it is actually the opposite.

provided a non-profit uses the same rubric for accepting cases, it may OF COURSE take up a case against someone running for president/nominated for the supreme court
it appears as though they refused *because* joe biden was running for president, which itself is *actually* the change in rubric that makes it an illegal contribution as far as i can tell.
say nothing of the fact that before anita dunn, a top biden strategist, came to be involved w/ time’s up, it seemed as though they *would* take the case, per emails between tara and time’s up.

so there is additionally a conflict of interest.
what makes #TaraReade’s testimony less reliable than blasey-ford’s? both told someone at the time, neither have corroborating witnesses of their assault. i believe them both, why dont you?
as far as i am aware, there werent any character witnesses against kavanaugh, let alone *many* clips of him sniffing/stroking and multiple women alleging that he has made them uncomfortable.

also @SenFeinstein wasnt immediately willing to come forward with her story.
it seems to me that there was less evidence brought against kavanaugh than there is against biden, and yet tara is dismissed whereas alyssa was the most publicly vocal critic of kavanaugh. i believe both women for why would they lie? cui bono milano? this sucks!
full disclosure: i am a #bernie supporter for many many reasons, none of which constitute toxicity.

especially in this very moment, #medicareforall #greennewdeal #cancelstudentdebt #higherwages & democratizing the workplace are good, smart *compassionate* winning policies.
