... as soon as you start talking about revenue and who gets what and how, etc, the fun goes AWAY. Then this becomes a gig instead of some sh*t for the fans - and for their peers!!

I advocate for Tim and Swizz to move on. They usually would have announced another joint by now. Teddy ruined the momentum.

On a much - MUCH - smaller scale, I relate to this with #MusicSermon. People have encouraged me from super early on to put it behind a paywall of some sort, but there is NO platform that will allow the real time sharing and engagement twitter does, and that’s half the experience.

But a. I enjoy it, b. I feed off of y’alls energy during the sermons and c. I brings other, PAID, opportunities. Win/win. Teddy’s killing the love focused on the $.

I trust Tim & Swizz to keep the fan experience - and THE CULTURE - in mind with though. They’re entertainers and showmen first and foremost. I’ve been watching Teddy phone it in with live shows for 2 years now. He just wants a check.

Teddy also ain’t been in not one of these live battles that I can remember, so he doesn’t even understand the energy or the sport of it.

The last time I saw the Teddy “& friends” set he spent the last 20 minutes just playing hypeman to a bunch of song his DJ played - that he had NOTHING to do with - like swag surf. And still ended the set 15 mins early. He does NOT have the fan experience top of mind.

Now would be the time for JD and Puff. Battle of the Remixes. Let’s get it.
