Finished the first season of Beastars. People shit on it too much because it's about animals. Some make their own human versions of them which I believe disrespects the story a bit. It wouldn't make any sense as humans. As humans, it would be the delinquent trope all over
again and it would be so boring. I may be looking too deep into it, but it's fresh and somewhat gives homage to children's shows back in the day WITH ANIMALS WITH LOVE INTERESTS. I'm not trying to shit on people who dislike it or make their own fanart, to each their own. I just
think it's a level of disrespect to the mangaka that people rather have a human version of a piece he or she worked really hard on. If they were humans, it wouldn't mean much and going the racism route wouldn't get any more views tbh it would get way less or wouldn't have been
published. Anyway, to wrap this up. I read the manga first so a lot of things didn't surprise me. It's new and sometimes weird yes, but it's a good story in my opinion. I believe the animation studio who brought it to life did an amazing job! This is the first time in a while
I was actually excited about an anime. Please don't shit on it so badly. If you don't like it fine, but please respect the people who helped created and anime this story.
