Not everyone can separate ic and ooc. I get that most of y’all can but, please be mindful to those who choose not to separate ic and ooc. We get attached to the character AND most of the things and stuff our character do or say is solemnly based upon what the admin would say
or even do. My character, Altair, is based around myself as the admin. We do and say the exact same things, we reflect ourselves both ic and ooc. Fair enough if you’ve got a character who’s simply just that, a character. Of course, this is roleplay.
However, when it comes to relationships, separation isn’t easy. Well, not for me at least. I get attached to the admin. I end up asking ooc questions to get to know the admin on a deeper level so we’re not just two people role playing on Twitter, but two friends ic and ooc.
I personally like getting to know the admin because I’m going to be here for a long time, not for a short time so, I’d like to maintain friendships with everyone that I’ve met. Two of my closest friends that I’ve met on Twitter are still friends with me until this day.
We’ve known each other for, 3-4 years? And we’re still close ooc. Of course, I understand everyone’s different but, this is just my opinion and view point when it comes to ic and ooc relationships/friendships/bonds etc.
Another thing that I’d like to add is that, if someone can’t separate ic and ooc feelings, DON’T tell nor force them to separate it, especially if it’s for your own benefit/gain.

That’s all I have to say.
