Everyone hopes to God the PM is ok. There is a governmental problem to all this though. PM is at the heart of British govt and machine. Raab is deputising but big questions about whether he can act with full authority of the PM. This is a v murky bit of the British constitution.

Murky not least because it’s so rarely explored

This would be a big problem in terms of continuity of govt even if we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic. Clearly at the moment it’s even more imperative to have direction at the heart of govt.
