Theory of love is about 4 Film Major students that has a reputation as Gangsters. Two as Gadget Gangsta, Bone the Smooth Gangsta, Khai is known to be All-Around Gangsta, and third being the Gangsta who rejects all girls who asks him out. But one of them has a secret crush on Khai

The story is a cliche ‘boy falls in love with his best friend’ Some of you might say that there’s a lot of series/movie that tells that kind of story. But I am going to explain why this BL series is special in many ways!

Theory of Love made use of its weakness being a classic story simply because the main characters are Film Majors which means they talk about different films in the series which explains how they feel at that certain scenes or episode. Which elevates the storytelling of the series

Another thing is that the series is written well. How each character contributes to one another even though each one of them (4 Gangsters) have their own problem! Plus all of the characters are interesting it's not just the main one's who makes the story more intriguing.

What I love the most about ToL is it's realistic! It shows that the characters are not living in Dreamland wherein they get what they want. They showed that timing is not always perfect. ToL takes you on a ride on how confusing and painful loving a person can be.

Let’s talk about my favorite character, Third. From all of the BL series that I’ve watched he is by far the most relatable to me. Gun’s acting was Incredible cause every time he cries, damn! The problem is the character itself because he cries every episode losing its meaning.

This was my 2nd time watching Gun in a series, first was SOTUS, and I didn’t expect him to play a bad boy role. And I have to say he and the writers did a good job making me hate Khai. That’s the beauty of his character he is literally created for the audience to be confused.

(SPOILERS)But I get him crying because of KHAI. I have a love hate relationship with Khai although he gets his redemption arc but I still can’t forget that he was a total ASSHOLE. I mean if I was Third bye bye Khai, It's your turn to cry. TBH I still don’t know cause I'm marupok.

And the Best Best Friend Award goes to TWO! He was so kind to third to the point I was like Third go for Two! He was just so kind and protective when it comes to Third! Life tip: Get a Two and be friends with him for the rest of your life!

(SPOILERS)I was not informed na sponsor pala to ng Jollibee! Chour but GRABE ang sakit nito. I was not expecting this akala ko talaga they will end up together because of the affair of the boyfriend of Paan. Like damn kulang na lang inner thoughts niya, Jollibee commercial it is.

So far, the best series when it comes to Cinematography. It was so satisfying to watch the series. The only series that I’ve watched with good Lighting, especially with dark scenes! Plus for me their intro was so far the best that I’ve seen! Story was about film students duhhh!

The setting was also visually stunning! They really made it look like it was a Multi Media University! And plus the café looks so cute, not to mention the cinema booth in the cafe!

The OST just fits the overall mood! Especially scenes where third cries because it's not the kind of music with an exaggerated instrumental! Which fits because third always cry so it sets the mood its not that of a big deal but actually it is! You get what I mean?

This BL series just hits my taste! I mean falling in love with my best friend story WHY NOT! ++it has a ton of movie reference, which I will also review soon! If you love romcoms, inner thoughts narration, not cringey, and movies! ToL is the perfect BL series for you!
