why armys are hypocritical: a thread.

disclaimer: i KNOW not all of y'all are like this, but the VAST MAJORITY of armys are so sit this one out if you're gonna say sumn like "but that's not all of us". ik baby.

cultural appropriation/racism:

namjoon had done multiple things such as dreads, cornrows, said nigga in a song, etc. BUT, he apologized for his ignorance and has since then grown.

so, when chan did cornrows ONCE and apologized the best he could for it, he was still harassed.

mind you, this harassment is STILL going on until this day. it's been a fucking year. move the fuck on.

TW// mentions of s**cide.

chan had made a song predebut about feeling like he wanted to commit s**cide. it has since then been deleted, yet it was reuploaded by someone.

the song was deleted bc chan realized it isn't a good idea to have that as a song. yet a week ago, some armys brought it back up and proceeded to CLOWN him for it AND call him problematic.

now what doesn't make sense is how BTS talks about the importance mental health.

and loving yourself, while loving one another. yet, armys proceed to attack chan.

the irony of it all is, yoongi has written songs like that before. he might not have directly said the word, but he has had songs with that theme. when he does it though, he is deemed as strong.

now, he is strong for being able to even address something of that caliber in his songs. but, so is chan.

they both are very strong men and yet only one is deemed as that.

onto the nct fl*ps incident.

some immature nctzen barely trended for a second that bts uses b*ndles. when in reality, they only used maybe one.

we get it was immature, but then armys go and attack nct when they had nothing to do with it.

they constatly called lucas a f*t shamer and taeyong a b*lly and h*mophobe.

now, taeyong had spent HOURS talking to the victim and apologizing. it may have been years later, but it takes times for people to grow and realized they really fucked up.

now, as for lucas being a f*t shamer...it isn't even true. he called his CLOSE FRIEND "fat kun" as a running joke between them. if kun was hurt by it, they can talk out amounngst themselves. THEY ARE GROWN MEN. besides, he barely even says it anymore.

taeyong also made that insensitive joke with a CLOSE FRIEND. ik y'all mfs being saying shit behind closed doors with y'all friends that shouldn't be said to any other person.

also, here's the whole taeyong situation explained since mfs refuse to believe it.

also the article above PROVES he is not a scammer as well since that was also trended by hateful armys.

my last point is bh suing of the 12 y/o.

the girl is FUCKING TWELVE. yes, she needs to be responsible for her actions, but shouldn't everyone who helped trend the # be responsible as well ? it doesn't make sense.

they NEED to talk to her guardian and work things out.

bh should be worried about those damn saesangs rather than a little 12 y/o behind her damn screen.

armys refuse to realize where their faves company isn't picture fucking perfect. i could go more into bh being not that great of a company, but i really could care less.
