I don't think we want to go down the route that you HAVE to share the ‘lived experience’ of a person to be able to judge a criminal case involving a person from a different background. Its a nonsense and a dangerous nonsense at that.

It’s a telling appointment. Evidence of group-think. Ask more or less any leaver what they think about Lammy, they will tell you the same thing. He’s spent 4 years denouncing leavers. If there had been even one leaver in Keir Starmer’s inner circle they could have told him this.
