friendly reminder that if you're a professional critic you can look at some piece of art and think of some of the decisions of some of the characters as problematic or morally grey, your options are not limited to canonization or damnation of the work as a whole
just throwin' this out there in case these tryin' times have anyone Not Having A Normal One
back when they still made comics, I used to work on a column about a Superhero Ongoing where certain characters tried to build a new culture/society, and it was really easy to go "this one aspect made me uncomfortable" or "this one seems flawed" w/out saying They R Bad Guys Now
friendly reminder to everyone else though, you don't need to @ someone for a bad take, especially if other people have already politely engaged and the conversation seems like it's going nowhere
