So confused as to why our neighborhood path is roped off, @hfxgov

Apparently Commons paths are roped off as well.

Here's the response from 311: Unfortunately because that pathway connects to the park and playground, it has been closed. This must happen so that residents understand they are not able to access these areas, and to encourage people to stay home.

There's no way in hell I will be using North Street instead. A narrow sidewalk past a busy bus stop with traffic that will not allow one to use the street, versus a 2 metre wide pathway... Hmmm, seems pretty straightforward.
