Joking about americans not being allowed free health cate is less fun when you read actual stories about people dying because of it, when you know people can’t afford it, when you know a lot of people cant do nothing but risk life-long damage to their bodies bc of it

I have never reflected so much on my own access to free health care than I have talking to americans that don’t have it. I complain about having to wait 2 weeks for a non-threatening health issue while some ppl cant even afford an ambulance after a car accident

Americans: free healthcare doesn’t mean i get whatever i want. It means i can go meet a doctor, and they will assess if i need medication/help. If i don’t need it; they won’t give it to me. But by that point i know its not life threatening. I also only pay 30$ for each meeting

I can’t believe people vote to not have this? How is it a bad thing for peopme to be able to live without pain in their life? Society will be so much more happy and productive.
