So a week ago to day as I was coming to an end of my 7 day self isolation (after having mild symptoms) thing took a turn for the worst.

I suddenly got a very high temperature and fainted.
Fortunately my wife heard me hit the floor and came up stairs to investigate.

She didn't mess about and dialed 999 and in 5 minutes an ambulance had arrived.

I had regained consciousness when the paramedics came up. They got straight to work, giving me oxygen, taking my blood pressure and fitting me with a drip.

I was taken to hospital (a and e) for tests. Turns out I was dehydrated.
I was kept in for around 6 hours.

My wife (my saviour) came and picked me up and told me "I thought that was it. You were in such a state when you left in the ambulance I thought you weren't coming home".

The point of this thread is first to thank the #NHS staff and the paramedics who treated me.
Also drink plenty of water while in isolation.
You probably don't know feel thirsty but trust me dehydration can happen really quickly.

If you're not found quickly as I was it may be much worse.
