This is Aaron Campbell, a prisoner at FCI Elkton in Ohio, where 3 people have died from COVID-19.
He's serving 8 years for selling less than 2 grams of crack.
He used a smuggled cellphone to film inside the prison and post a desperate plea for help.

Aaron's mom Sherry is a healthcare worker in Detroit. She's on quarantine w/ COVID-19 symptoms, likely contracted from work in a hospital ICU.
She said of BOP's coronavirus response: “They don’t really know what they’re doing. They’re coming up with different plans every day."

Adrian Campbell told me he last spoke w/ his brother on Friday, right before video was posted:
"He said he needed to get some notoriety to the situation because they was ignoring everybody… He sounded real nervous about the situation.”

Staff source at FCI Elkton says that as of Monday morning:
-3 inmate deaths from COVID-19
-28 inmates hospitalized, 9 on ventilators
-80 inmates in isolation at prison w/ symptoms
-16 new inmates who just arrived at prison are in quarantine
-3 staff positive w/ COVID-19

Elkton staff source says 39 inmates "potentially could meet criteria for home confinement" — out of ~2,400 total prisoners.
Another 21 are "slated to leave for halfway house or be released to street" due to previously scheduled releases.
All must go through 14-day quarantine.
