2. Such a poignant couplet in Kashmir's context. A mother who lost her child in the conflict mistaking the shout of neighbour's kid as her own. Her heartbeat races and then she comforts herself to reality.
3. Then there's the mother of a disappeared person. She would get her hopes high every time someone opens the gate of her home, praying it to be her child.
4. The courage of his mother to keep all the premonitions at bay and keep that hope alive. That he'll be safe, that he'll return. Sigh!
5. And after sometime she becomes accustomed to the feeling but NEVER ever will she lose the hope that her son will not return. Never. She'll know that this isn't him at this time but next time. Next time it'll be him, for sure.
6. Kon aayega yahan? koi na aaya hoga ~

Mera darwaza hawaon ne hilaya hoga!
