NCFA is engaging with @DeptAHG as well as with @artscouncil_ie, @culture_ireland and our colleagues across the sector to ensure that artists and arts workers are not left behind during #COVID19 #COVIDartscrisis.
We have called on the Arts Council to review and reimagine the #COVID19 Crisis Response Award based on feedback from the sector through the Arts Council’s artist survey. Please fill it out to ensure your needs/concerns are taken on board. #COVIDartscrisis https://www.surveygizmo.eu/s3/90224863/Artist-survey-impact-of-Covid-19
We are aware of difficulties that artists and arts workers have had in applying for the #COVID19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment and we are in discussion with the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht to clarify how more artists and arts workers can avail of the scheme.
Culture Ireland will be clarifying issues relating to #IrelandPerforms, which is intended to make up for lost touring opportunities during #COVID19 and to help Irish artists promote their work abroad during this period. #COVIDartscrisis
