why doesn't biden do more to engage the people on this hellsite who, regularly, call him a sundowning, dementia-addled rapist?

a big part of what's broken all political discussion is this country is the assumption that what "me and my friends" believe is what the majority of voters believe, despite all evidence to the contrary.

incidentally, that exact same attitude is what wrecked sanders' campaign.

also, further down in that thread, respectable lawyer basically admits there's nothing biden can actually do. these people are impossible.

i would have preferred a different candidate to biden. i would have preferred *several* other candidates to biden. but that doesn't mean that i think biden is solely, personally responsible for soothing my ruffled ego.

also, lololololol forever at all of these people who kept cheering louder every time a centrist got knocked out of the race, only to realize way too late that this wasn't actually going to end well for them.

other funny thing: based on reports recently, it seems like biden actually *is* trying to figure out what bernie wants to bring him into the fold. sanders isn't a complete idiot. it's his supporters who are intractable.
